KSO condemns

Imphal, April 13 : Condemning the bomb attack by some suspected militants at the residence of TT.

Haokip, former deputy speaker of Manipur Legislative Assembly injuring her 18 year old daughter, the Kuki Students' Organization (KSO) appealed to the group responsible for the act to clarify the reasons behind the attack.

In the statement, the KSO maintained that attacking the innocent civilians would bring no solution to the revolutionary movement rather than causing unnecessary and psychological effect to the innocent civilians.

The KSO further appealed not to repeat such incidents in future.

A blast had been triggered at the residence of TT Haokip, former deputy speaker, Manipur legislative assembly, New Checkon in Imphal Friday morning injuring her 18 old daughter.

She was admitted to Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences (JNIMS).

She is reportedly out of danger.

TT Haokip is the owner of Haokip Travels, a travel agency at Thangal Bazar, Imphal.

According to police sources, the bomb attack was related to some monetary demands.

Meanwhile, decrying the bomb attack at TT Haokip's residence, the womenfolk of New Lambulane market, Imphal staged a protest demonstration Saturday.
