A jog for grey cells

On Campus
Embodying the spirit of camaraderie, competition and fun, the Assam Institute of Management organised its annual event, AIM Quest 2009 — Quest for Excellence, at Shilpgram, Guwahati, on February 24.

Almost all the leading B-schools of the region — Tezpur University, CMS-Dibrugarh University, NIS Academy, NERIM and NERIST — were part of the programme.
Among the plethora of events, the first was a paper presentation contest, followed by a case study contest.
In the case study competition, the participating teams were provided with the case of an FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) major where certain problems had cropped up in the organisation.
The participants on their part were supposed to come out with solutions within a frame of contents supplied to them.
The subsequent contests were collage making, cartooning and ad-designing.
At the end of the gruelling and cell-jogging sessions, students danced away recession blues to a DJ’s tunes.
